“…a clever, fascinating and emotional show…Outdoors really makes the ordinary extraordinary”

Outdoors
Heartsong Choir has been meeting to sing together every Tuesday for over 12 years. Outdoors takes place on the evening of choir rehearsal once a week for a year. Armed with ipods and headsets, audience members trace the journeys of choir members to their rehearsal through the town. Outdoors conducts its audience in a joyful fugue of interweaving stories and song; a series of virtual solos, joining up into a choral finale.
National Theatre Wales is joining forces with Berlin’s pioneering reality theatre-makers Rimini Protokoll to create their first UK commission – in Aberystwyth.
